This past June, Evergreen Motorcycle Attorneys attended our first Touratech Rally West—the largest annual ADV rally in the United States. The excitement-packed weekend consisted of adventure riding, fun races, technique training and insightful presentations. Needless to say, we had a blast meeting fellow riders and making new friends in the Pacific Northwest motorcycle community.
Experiencing the Largest ADV Rally in the United States
This year at Touratech Rally West, hundreds of adventure riding enthusiasts gathered from June 22-June 25th outside the town of Plain, Washington. The rally is inclusive to riders of all levels, offering group rides of varying difficulties through the surrounding evergreen forests. Some of these rides lead to incredible locations such as Lion Rock, with staggering views of the Cascade Mountain Range.
Evergreen Motorcycle Attorneys’ James McCormick was present for all four days of the event, representing EMA while also participating in events as a dedicated adventure rider. He had a great time riding with neighboring vendor Motoscreenz, who make customized graphics for your motorcycle screen. Redverz, the travel gear aficionados, were also among fellow vendors.
Guests, Guidance and Giveaways at Touratech Rally West
Special guest attendees included Toby Stevens of State Farm, as well as legendary riding instructor Jimmy Lewis. Jimmy gave an invaluable presentation about riding techniques and imparted priceless wisdom to the crowd. James also gave a presentation on his experience adventuring riding in Baja, Mexico.
James’ presentation emphasized one of EMA’s core values, which is motorcycle safety. To reflect this value, EMA created a survival themed giveaway basket, one of the many awesome prizes handed out at their booth throughout the four-day rally. The giveaway basket comprised of adventure riding essentials such as a patch kit, zip ties and a safety whistle.
Motorcycle rallies and events, such as Touratech Rally West, are just as fun as they are informative. In the spirit of fun, EMA hosted two kegs of IPA at their booth on Saturday night of the rally provided for attendees 21 and over. We also contributed a self-guided GPS to the Touratech Raffle, with an accompanying ride book for the Olympic Mountain loop put together by GripTwister tours.
Here at EMA, we love attending motorcycle-related events. Not only is it a great opportunity to meet fellow bike enthusiasts, we enjoy being involved in the riding community in Washington. To see more photos from Touratech Rally West, be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
